English favorites The Popguns have been recording a bunch of new tunes recently at the famous Brighton Electric Studio in their hometown. Not in the mood to make you wait, they are unleashing two standouts from the session into the digital ether as the 'Gasoline' EP.
‘Oh Harry’ is a slow paced charmer with a big chorus that England Football fans could possibly borrow when Harry Kane scores at the 2026 World Cup.
On the figurative flip side is ‘I’m Happy How My Life Turned Out’ which is a very solid pop-chugger about someone who doesn’t want to be told by some pathetic ex that she could have had a different life if she’d followed him around way back when.
Rumor has it that we may have a new Popguns album next year too!

I Popguns, gruppo inglese molto amato, hanno recentemente registrato una serie di nuovi brani presso il famoso Brighton Electric Studio nella loro città natale. Non volendo farci aspettare, hanno deciso di pubblicare due brani di spicco della session in formato digitale con l’EP “Gasoline”. “Oh Harry” è un brano dal ritmo accattivante con un ritornello potente che, come dicono le note stampa, i tifosi della nazionale inglese potrebbero adottare quando Harry Kane segnerà un gol ai Mondiali del 2026. Il lato B è “I’m Happy How My Life Turned Out”, un brano pop molto solido che parla di una ragazza che non vuole sentirsi dire da un ex patetico che avrebbe potuto avere una vita diversa se lo avesse seguito in passato.
